Sutherland, £1; New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Association of Canterbury, Ltd., v. M. A. Robertson, £36 3s 2d; Langdon and Son, Ltd., v. J. E. Ashworth, £l4 4s 6d; H. Bastin v. W. Bate, £57 16s 4d; L. A. Harding v. H. Paton, £l9 2s 6d and possession of a tenement. (Before Mr H. A. Young, S.M.) CLAIM FOR GOODS SOLD. Clifford Arthur Goodman (Mr A. D. Hannan) sought to recover from James Batchelor (Mr R. Twyneham) the sum of £6 7s 6d allegedly du- for goods sold by the plaintiff to the defendant, for money lent by the plaintiff on behalf of the defendant at the defendant’s request. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount claimed and costs. (Before Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M.) REMANDED. Henry Arthur Cooper and Leslie Dobsen, charged with issuing valueless cheques, were remanded to appear tomorrow.
