LINWOOD TEAM PLAY DARFIELD ELEVEN. A friendly cricket match, Linwood seniors v. Darfield, was plaj'ed at Lancaster Park to-day. The visitors batted first, and though wickets fell fairly frequently, more than one batsman had a good smack at the bowling. At noon, the visitors were still a wicket in hand with the respectable tally of 218. B. Groves, Summerville, G. Reverley, Kennedy and Westwood all batted freely, and some good sixes were hit.
