WRESTLING BOUT WILL BE HELD IN CHRISTCHURCH SOON.
' A Wrestling Association is to be formed in Christchurch by Mr J. D. Baybutt, a prominent member of the Christchurch Sports Club. A bout has been arranged between Clarence Eklund. light heavy-weight champion of the world, and Tom Alley, to be held at the Municipal Hall on the evening of Labour Day.
The Christchurch Association will be affiliated to the New Zealand Wrestling Association, and most likely prominent wrestlers from overseas will make their appearance here in due course.
