DEBRIS FROM WEST COAST RIVER IS DANGEROUS TO SHIPS.
Captain C. N. Renault, Government. Marine Superintendent, Lytteltqn, has received the following message from the Secretary of the Marine Department, “Wellington:— “Much debris, including heavyl timber, is drifting seaward from Mokihinui River near ‘Vestport. \Vam shipping." The river is ninety miles south-west, of Karamea.
