l The next attraction at the Theatre Royal. commencing Friday next, will he the all-talking 100 per cent dia’ lugue picture entitled “The Wolf of Wall Street." The star is George Ban—croft, who has lately been very much in the front in the film world. As may be construed from the title of the film. Bancroft portrays the role of an investment broker who dabble: in stocks and bonds. So engrossed is he with his work that he becomes entirely oblivious to his wife‘s social ao—tivities—who. before her husband he—came wealthy, was a circus performer. Buclanova essays the role of the ne—glected wife. Bancroft has a partner in his business. which part is portrayed by Paul Lukas. Lukas dislikes Bancroft because his partner boasts too much of his ability to make or break the stock market. For revenge he strikes up a flirtation with Bancroft's wife. How Bancroft works vengeance upon the two, in a manner more to be felt by them through their pocketbooks, serves to make one of the most interesting stories ever filmed. Aside from Lukas and Baclanova, Ban~ croft has excellent help from Nancy Carroll and Arthur Rankin, who have important roles in the production. Rowland V. Lee directed Um film. A fine array of all—talking and singing supports will also be on the same pragramme. The 110:; plans will open on Wednesday.
