(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received July 5, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 4. Sir James and Lady Parr gave a dance and reception at the Mayfair Hotel. There were 500 guests, including the High Commissioners of the other 1 dominions and Agents-General, and representatives of the Board of Education, Board of Trade, the Foreign Office, the London and provincial Chambers of Commerce. Lord Passfield, Secretary of State for the Dominions, and Mrs Webb were also present.—Australian Press Association. Mrs Webb has determined to remain plain Mrs Webb, and not to take the title to which her husband’s elevation to the peerage entitles her. She told an interviewer recently that Lord Passfield had agreed to this. They had agreed in all things all their lives, she said, and were not going to fall out now.
