CLOTHING STORE IN WELLINGTON SUFFERS DAMAGE THROUGH FIRE.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 1. About eight o’clock last night, fire broke out in Schneideman’s men’s clothing shop in Willis Street. The brigade was promptly on the scene, and soon had the flames extinguished. Considerable damage to stock and fittings was done by fire, smoke and water. The main structure was not greatly damaged. Information as to insurances is not available.
