For making a false accusation against a referee and using abusive language on a football ground, a Te Kuiti Maori was warned off all grounds under the jurisdiction of the Maniapoto Rugby Union for two years at a meeting of the management committee of the union last week. For aiding and abetting the native, another Maori was also warned off all grounds and disqualified for the present season. For alleged insubordination the Te Kuiti junior players were asked to appear before the next meeting of the union to show cause! why the team should not be disqualified from further participation in the! union's competition. This action arose out of the Te Kuiti juniors’ refusal to play against Aria when an alteration j in the venue of the game was made) by the union.
