ANOTHER “BURST” IN LONDON STREET.

(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copy right). ® LONDON, January 29. Street explosions and bursts continue. There have r been eleven in London in the last seventeen days. The “Daily News” has introduced a standing headline: “The Daily Burst.” To-day’s burst occurred in the Strand, where a hydraulic main forced up the pavement. There were smaller bursts in neighbouring streets. Water flooded basements, stopped traffic and destroyed the paving in Arundel Street.—United Service.
