ST ALBANS SWIMMING CLUB IS RE-FORMED.
A meeting of the Albans Swimming Club was held in the St Albans Schoolroom on Saturday, for the purpose of re-forming the club, which has been defunct for the past two seasons. Mr Dally, the former president, presided over a fair attendance. A motion, that the club be re-formed, was carried unanimously. The following officers were appointed:—President, Mr Dally; club captain, Mr Thompson; secretary and treasurer, Messrs P. T. and C. Willcox, with Messrs Erasmusson, Kean, Rountree, Brieley and Stanton as committee. The question of the official opening was left till the next meeting. In the meantime the bath is open to members.
