NEW BRIGHTON IS HOLDING GRAND CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL.
The days between Christmas and New Year are destined to be filled with joy and jollity for all who spend the Yuletide holidays at New Brighton, for from December 26 to January 2 a grand Christmas carnival is to be held at this popular seaside resort. Dance enthusiasts will delight to learn that New Zealand’s largest and finest lazz band will be in attendance, and that there will be plenty of fun for young and old is evidenced by the list of numerous attractions. There will be a trea-sure-hunt a merry-go-round, numerous side-sl.owfc and general sports. Massed bands will play every day, and the feature of the New Year’s Eve festivities will be a magnificent torchlight procession and fireworks display.
