A cable on October 31 said: —Mrs Margaret Fearon, housekeeper for her brother-in-law, Joseph Livingstone, aged 66 was found dead at' her home at Frankston, a .seaside resort, to-day, with severe gashes in the neck. The bodv was found face downwards in the back yard. Livingstone, who is an estate agent, was discovered in a front room with his throat cut, but able to speak. He told the police that he intended to commit suicide, but changed his mind. He was arrested and charged with murder.
