NEW BRIGHTON IS HOLDING GRAND CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL.
The days between Christmas and New Year are destined to be filled with joy and jollity for all who spend the Yuletide holidays at New Brighton, for from December 2 6 to January 2 a. grand Christmas carnival is to be held at this popular seaside resort. Dance enthusiasts will delight to learn that New Zealand’s largest and finest jazz band will be in attendance, and that there will be plenty of fun for young and old is evidenced by the list of numerous attractions. There will be a trea-sure-hunt. a merry-go-round, numerous side-shows and general sports. Massed bands will pla*y every day, and the feature of the New Year’s Eve festivities will he a magnificent torchlight procession and fireworks display.
