That the time had come when the Department should test out all patent stock medicines l>efore allowing them to be placed on the market was the opinion expressed at a meeting of the Dairy Farmers Union at Palmerston North yesterday. It. was decided to send a deputation to the Minister when Parliament next was in session, to bring the matter under his notice. It was considered that, even if the medicines proved 25 per cent effective, farmers would know where they stood.
