PROPOSED COMMISSION INTO CASH ORDER SYSTEM.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 20. Asked as to his intentions regarding the commission proposed to be set up to inquire into the cash order trading system, the Hon J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Industries and Commerce, stated he had noted from the files that the previous Government had publicly announced it had decided to make full investigation into the matter, and report as to any legislative or other action that might beconsidered necessary. In view of this definite commitment Mr Cobbe said he felt it his duty to go on with the inquiry and shortly after the holidays he would make a further announcement both as to the personnel of the commission and the order of reference.
