INTER-CLUB FIELD EVENT COMPETITION. An inter-club field event competition was conducted last evening at English Park, under the auspice, of the Canter-bm-A- Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. The management* was at fault, only three officials hein°- present, but the enthusiasm of ihe competitors made the meeting a sucef*The competition was conducted on a team basis, the aggregate points counting for places. The Sumner and Varsity d übs dominated the events. Sumner winning on the last, event by 19 points to 17.
