LATE PERSONALS.
The Hon W. Downie Stewart left Dunedin for Wellington by the first express to-day. Sir Joseph Ward, leader of the United Party, arrived in Christchurch from Invercargill this morning. He will leave for Wellington to-night, accompanied by Mr and Mrs Vincent Ward and Mrs Bernard Wood.
