BAGULEY-—MILLER. A wedding was solemnised at St John's Church, Winchester, recently, the contracting parties being Reta, elder daughter of the late John and Ethel Miller, of Pleasant Point, South Canterburv, and Mr John Baguley, of Winchester, and late of London. The Rev G. N. WatsOn. officiated, and Mrs Watson presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her eldest brother. Mr Alfred Miller, of Kurow, wore a long-sleeved frock of forget-me-not blue crepe de chine and georgette, the long bodice being vandyked on to the full skirt. Her veil was held in place by a coronet of pearls and brilliants, and she carried a bouquet of blue hyacinths and white camellias and maidenhair fern. At St Matthew’s Church, St Albans, on Wednesday, Violet, eldest daughter of the late J. E. Batson (N.Z. Loan and Mercantile, Oamaru), and Mrs Maries (Wellington) was married to Alexander Fraser, of “Ashridge,” Hakataramea. The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a gown of ivory satin beaute. The tight-fitting bodice was inlet with a tiny V-shaped front of silver lace, and the skirt, worn long and slightly full, was cut away to show the exquisite slip of silver lace in front. An embroidered veil of tulle (lent by Mrs Knaggs, sister of the bride) was held in place by a chaplet of pearls with posies of orange-blossom over each ear. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lily-of-the-valley. The only jewel worn was a. pearl and aquamarine pendant, the gift of the bridegroom. The only bridesmaid was Miss Coral. Williams, whose dainty' •frock was of pink georgette and lace panels, caught up .on the hip with a large 'brilliarit buckle'. She wore -; & black crinoline picture hat, aiid carried a bouquet of pink malmaisons, sweet peas and asparagus fern. The bridegroom’s gift to the bridesmaid was an opal ring. Mr Len. At the Rugby Street Methodist Church on Wednesday evening Eve.yn May. younger daughter of Mrs Siunmerell, of Lin wood Avenue, and the late air Summerell, of Dunedin, was marnea by the Rev Leslie B.
