BARTHELMESS STAR IN GRAND FEATURE.
“ The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come,” the principal feature on the new bill of fare this week at the Grand Theatre, deals very largely with the genius of simple childhood, and in that lies much of its charm and appeal. The story has to do with the adventures of a fourteen-year-old mountain boy, a homeless little wanderer who has no companion and no frienrl but his faithful dog. As Chad Bqr ford, the boy, Richard Bart helmet,, gives a £ne character study. His efforts are well seconded by Miss MoflO’Day in the leading feminine role The supporting programme is up t' the usual high standard maintained a; the Grand, and the music supplied by the Grand Quality Orchestra gives the final touch of pleasure to a really firstclaat evening’s entertainment.
