BETTY COMPSON STARS AT EVERYBODY’S
The leading picture on the current programme at Everybody’s is a film entitled “Counsel for the Defence.” In this the popular actress, Betty Compson, plays the leading role. Among the themes open to the dramatist and the movie scenarist, none is more interesting from the viewpoint of resultant good drama, than that which centres round a court «£ law, or the intrigues and cunning at i Machiavelli-like plotting of the legal office. The second attraction is “ The Big Show',” which brings back all the glories and thrills of childhood when the circus came to town. It is a circus of the old school, with Grimaldi-like clowns, and a brave showing of beauty and daring. An excellent selection of pictures is completed by the seventh series of “ The Coilegians.” Mr Albert Bidgood and his Select Orchestra plays an admirable musical programme.
