At to-night’s meeting of the League of Nations Union, Mr J. E. Strachan will discuss “The Problems _ of the Pacific*” Mr Strachan is chairman of the Christchurch group of the Institute of Pacific Relations. The minister of St George’s Presbyterian Church, Linwood, announced that he was considering resigning at Sunday morning’s service. In the evening he placed the resignation with the Kirk Session. The resignation has yet to be considered by the Christchurch Presbytery.
