The annual debate between teams representing the Dialectical Society of Canterbury College and the Public Speaking Class of the Bdticational Association will be held on Saturday evening at 8 o’clock, in the Trades Hall, when the following subject will be discussed: “That Preferential Duties are Necessary to Preserve and) Develop Imperial Unity.” The public is invited to attend.
