A* proposal has been made that a party of British farmers should visit Now Zealand at the end of 1929 or the beginning of 1930. The Dominion secretary of the Farmers' Union has written to the North Canterbury Executive asking for information as to how the visitors can be entertained in Canterbur>\ and what scenic places and other places, such as dairy factories, dairy farms, stud farms and freezing work', might be visited. The executive 3-es-terday referred the question to its Financial Committee.
