CLAIM MADE FOR FRUIT COMMISSION.
A claim for commission on the purchase of fruit and vegetables jbfoved successful in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. Richard John Rothwell, a commission agent, care of Park, Davis and Co.. Christchurch, claimed the sum of £4-S 9s 6d as balance of commission Oil the purchase of fruit from R. Patterson, Commission agent. Westport. Mr Lockwood appeared for plaintiff and Mr Connal represented defendant. Mr Connal contended that the dispute was really one of accountancy. The Magistrate (Mr 11. A. Young) agreed with this view and awarded judgment for the plaintiff, with costs, for the sum of £35 19s 6d.
