THE LEAGUE GAME. SATURDAY’S MATCHES. Following are fixtures and referees for Saturday:— Seniors—Thacker Shield, challenge match, Marist (Christchurch) v. Marist (West Coast), at Monica Park No. 1. 3 p.m. (referee, Mr H. Lawrence; line umpires, Messrs R. Keller and P. Kirton); friendly game, Sydenham v. Kaikorai (Dunedin), at Monica No. 1, 1.45 p.m. (Mr E. Jones). Third Grade Final—Linwood v. Woolston, at Monica No. 2, 2.45 p.m. (Mr C Allen). Fifth Grade Final—Addington v Woolston, at Monica No. 3, 1.30 p.m (Mr H. King). Third Grade, Friendly Game—Sydenham v. West Coast Marist, at Monica No. 2, 1.30 p.m. (Mr R. Keller). THE ASSOCIATION GAME. MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. The executive of the .Canterbury Football Association met last night: present—Messrs C. .H. Bascand (in the chair), J. Stout, C. H. Bennett, C. Jennings, E. E. Lancaster, J. Duncan, C. E Keyes, H. Jackson, H. Smyth, R. English and R. B. Bunt (secretary). Permission was given to the girls of the St Albans School to play rounders on English Park after school hours. The explanation of tlßangers Club .of their .default to the Villa Club last Saturday was accepted. It was decided to play the Combined Press v. Referees match on Saturday, two thirty-minutes spells to be played. SATURDAY’S GAMES. English Cup, 3 p.m.—Western v. Technical, English Park (Mr Campbell). Curtain-raiser, 1.36—C.F.A. v. Combined Press, English Park (Mr M’Lachlan). Final Sevicke Jones Cup, 2.30 Y.M.C.A. v. Fpreydon, Hagley No. 3 (Mr Merritt). Final RamSey Cup, I.3o—Brighton v. winner of the Nomads v. Technical A game, Hagley No. 4 (Mr M’Leod). SCHOOLS GAMES. The following matches will be played this week in the schools competitions: Junior grade final, to-day, at North Park, at 4 o’clock—Marist A v. West Christchurch (Mr Deans). Light-weight grade final, Thursday, at North Park, at 4 o’clock—Addington Convent v. St Albans A (Mr Wick). Sixth Grade Cup.—The match Technical A v. Nomads, postponed from Saturday last, will bo played at North Park to-day at 4 o’clock, or, in the event of wet weather, at the same time on the first fine day after. All players must assemble at the appointed time, and the referee will decide on the ground whether the match can bo played. Mr M’Leod will referee. C.F. A. EXECUTIVE TEAM. The following team will represent the C.F.A. against the Combined Press W. Campbell, J. Jennings, W. Wardell, F. Enser, M. Anderson, C. E. Keyes, M Wilson, J. Stout, H. Smyth, G. Lamoni and E. E. Lancaster.
