To the Editor. Dear Sir,—ln reading your publication of September 25, I see that a correspondent has a grouch against hawkers, and well he may have. Many undesirables calling themselves canvassers make a perfect nuisance of themselves, sometimes as many as six or eight come in one day to vour door trying with all their impudence (which most of them have) to sell something you don't want. It is time the City Council put some sort of cap on this humbugging.—l am. etc., ANNOYED No. 2.
