GOVERNMENT BILLS TO BE PRESENTED IN COMING WEEK.
Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, August 25. Four days of steady work are planned for the House next week, when the prisons, police and several other departmental reports will make their ap pearance, so that the Estimates of those departments may be taken on Friday night. A number of Government bills will also make their appear an re, including an amendment of the Public Works on Tuesday. Five Friday nights will see all the Estimates out of the way and the end of the session should then be in sight.
