WEDDINGS.
SAUNDERS—ROLLINSON". A wedding was celebrated recently at the Nnkuroa church, when Isabel, the only daughter of Mr and Mrs F. Rollmson, of Studboime Junction, was wedded to Frank, youngest son of Mr and Mrs E. L. Saunders, also of Studbolroe Junction. The Rev J. H. Haslajn was the officiating minister, and Miss V. Faulkner presided at the organ The church was prettily decorated with spring flowers, this having been done by many friends of the bride.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of flesh pink crepe de chine and silk lace, with silver shoes and stockings. A coronet of orange blossom held in place her beautiful hand*embroidered veil. She carried a bouquet of flowers and maidenhair fern to tone. Miss Ivy Saunders, sister of the bridgerootn, and Miss Jean Rollinson. cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. They wore charming frocks of powder blue crepe de chine and georgette, respectively, with silver shoes and stockings, and coronets of bltic and .silver, with tulle bows. Both carried bouquets of blue flowers and maidenhair fern. Mr E. Rollinson, brother of the bride, carried out the duties of best man, and Mr E. Saunders, brother of the bridegroom. was groomsman.
After the ceremony, Mr and Mrs F. Rollinson lecerved about ninety guests at the Xukuroa Hall, where *tbe wadding breakfast was served. The' usual toasts were honoured. Mr and Mrs F. L. Saunders left later for the North Island, on their honeymoon, the bride's travelling dress being a beige frock and beige velour coat, with squirrel collar, and hat and ahoes to tone. She wore a beautiful fox fur.
ROSS—ROBERTSON. A wedding took place recently, in the Highffeld Presbyterian Church, Tiiraru, when May, eldest daughter of Mr and Mre Robertson. Washdyke, was married to George, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Ross, cf Christchurch. The Rev A Begg officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was dressed in a dainty frock of ivory crepe de chine. Her beautiful embroidered veil fell from a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of -white hot-house flowers and ferns, with satin ribbon streamers. Miss Ena Robertson, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid. She wore a charmin# frock of blue silk, trimmed with radium lace, and a lace cape from the shoulders and carried a bouquet of blue and white flowers, with streamers to tone with her frock. Mr X. Ross attended the bridegroom as beet man. The reception end wedding breakfast took piece at the home of the bride’s parents.
