MR J. W. BEANLAND ASKED TO CONTEST KAIAPOI SEAT.
WILL GIVE ANSWER AT END OF WEEK. Mr J. W. Beanland. a member of the Christchurch City Council and the Christchurch Drainage Board, has been asked to stand for the Kaiapoi seat in the interests of the Reform Party at the coming general election. lie has intimated that he vdll give the inan-r serious consideration and give a definite answer about the end of this week.
