GOLF.
LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYED AT SHIRLEY. The final of the ladies’ championship of 36 holes, between the holder, Miss M. Beadel, and Miss E. Parsons, was played at Shirley to-day. After 18 holes Miss Beadel had a lead of 4 up. Miss Parsons started off strongly and was 4 up at the fifth hole. From then on Miss Beadel played steady golf, squared the game at the ninth and finished the morning round 4 up. Miss Beadel weut round in 83 and Miss Parsons in 87. The game will be completed this afternoon.
