TYRES WORTH £7OO DESTROYED BY FIRE.
P»r Fr.u Association. AUCKLAND, August 20. Early this morning fira broke out in the premises of Carter Brothers, garage proprietors. Mt. Eden, originating in rubbish near a large heap of motor tyres valued at £7OO, ali of which were destroyed. Oil and benzine added to the conflagration, but the brigade saved the main building.
