HARMONIC SOCIETY
SOCIAL EVENING. „ A pleasant evening was spent bj r the members and friends of the Harmonic Society on Tuesday evening at Dixieland- Dancing and games made up a thoroughly enjoyable programme, and several well organised competitions provided great amusement for the onlookers. The society entertained as its guests members of the orchestra who assisted at the recent concert. Streamers and snowballs combined with the decoration of the rooms in making a very attractive and gay scene, and all present spent ail enjoyable social evening. The committee responsible for the arrangements were Misses Marjorie Nelson and Dorothy Spiller, and Messrs K. G. Archer, W. J. Spratt, N. Stoupe, 11. (_). Whitmore and M. A. Richards. Mr K. G. Archer supervised the entertainment. Apologies for absence were received from the president, the lion Mr Justice A- S- Adams, and Mr 11. W. Ilcslr.p. Amongst those present were: : —Mr and Kirs E. J.
