VESTRY WANTS CHANCE TO CONSIDER BILL.
Per Press Association. HASTINGS, August 18. The vestry of St Matthew’s Anglican Church passed a resolution protesting against the Church of England Empowering Bill, now before Parliament, being passed until parishes and Diocesan Synods have an opportunity of considering and voting on the measure. The vestry also requests the member for the district to oppose the Bill.
