June 27 A motor-car containing four man and one woman dived into ’the Parramatta River at midnight. The men extricated themselves from the enclosed hood and swam to safety. Two divested themselves of their * clothes and swam back. Thev dived and dragged out Mrs Selle, of Eastwood. She was nearly drowned, but was resuscitated.—Australian Press Association.
