MANY FAMILIES SUFFER ILLNESS.
PTOMAINE POISONING IS SUSPECTED IN AUCKLAND CASES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 21. Thirty families in Grey Lynn were taken ill with a mysterious sickness on Fridat'.
Some were affected rather severely, but none were taken to hospital. The symptoms coincide with ptomaine poisoning. The Health Department is investigating the cases.
