"AFGHANS REGARD TURKS AS BROTHERS.”
(Received Mav 21, 1.35 p.m.) LONDON, May 20. The Constantinople correspondent of “The Times” says that the King and Queen of Afghanistan arrived from Sebastopol escorted by destroyers. They were met by cruisers, torpedo-boats and seven aeroplanes at the entrance to the Bosphorus. Large crowds collected and cheered from- the shores. King A mantil lah alluded to the affection between the two countries, saying that Afghans regarded the Turks as brothers.—Australian Press Association.
