TRAIN HELD UP AND NEWSPAPERS SEIZED.
BELIEVED TO BE PROTEST AGAINST PUBLICATION OF « LIFE OF CHRIST.” (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (.Received May 21. 12.45 p.m.) DUBLIN, May 20. A party of young men. unarmed and unmasked, entered a Killiney station, ordered the stationmaster and norter away and held up the train from Kingstown. They forced the luggage van and seized and set fire to six thousand copies of English Sunday newspapers. The action is believed to be a protest against the publication in one of the “ Life of Christ,” about which the Bishop of Galway recently protested.— Australian Press Association—United Service.
