WEDDING
RICHFIELD—JOHNSTONE. At St John’s Church, Lyttelton, the wedding wag recently solemnised of Rachel, third daughter of Mr and Mrs T. Johnstone, Port Levy, to George Campbell, younger son of Mr and Mrs C. J. Richfield, also of Port Levy. The Rev F. J. Tylee officiated, and Miss Ruth Hatchwell was the organist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a simple frock of pink crepe de chine. Her veil of pink tulle, which was handsomely embroidered and scalloped, was arranged from a wreath of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of autumn flowers and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids, Miss Lilliap Johnstone and Miss Ellen Richfield, wore dainty frocks of lavender crepe de chine, and black crinoline hats. They both carried bouquets of autumn flowers and maidenhair fern. Mr T. W. Johnstone attended as best man, and Mr A. Richfield was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Excelsior Hall, where the usual toasts were honoured. When the bride left for her wedding tour she wore a green repp frock and a green hat to match, and a handsome fur.
