The phases and times are as follows:—-3rd. 5.35 p.m., moon enters penumbra: 9.48 p.m., moon enters umbra (shadow proper) ; 11.1 p.m., total phase begin; 4th, 12.18 a.m., total phase ends; 1.32 a.m., moon leaves umbra; 2.45 a.m., moon leaves penumbra.
