“ BLOWN TO BITS.”
By SINBAD. The anti-daylight saving guys must shortly exercise their wits. The theme on which their cause relies has recently been blown to bits. For they, in farmers’ unions met, have constantly put up a wail of how their kids no sleep can get, and thus at school are bound to fail. They first, of course, tried argument, but, when by forceful points dismayed, on beating Sidey they were bent, and called in sobstuff to their aid. They spoke of kids that couldn't sleep, and many sentimental dames were by their tales impelled* to weep for children sacrificed for games. The extra hour appeared a crime enotxgh to ipake the coldest blue. It should have wiped out. Sidey time—it would have, were it only true.
