In celebration of Empire Day, two well-known enthusiasts of the Empire movement have made arrangements to give a supper at the Y.M.CA. Hall on May 24 to 100 school children between the ages of 10 and 14, recommended by their teachers. An Empire Christmas pudding, made, according to the recipe of the King’s chef for their Majesty’s Christmas pudding, entirely of Empire ingredients, will be served to the children. The walls of the hall will bear posters, etc., illustrative of Empire trade and alter supper an appropriate address will be given by a lady well-known in scholastic circles.
