JUBILEE REVUE.
A revue to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the city, entitled “Christchurch Rejoicing,’’ will be given in the Municipal Concert Hall on Tuesday, May 29. The revue is being produced by Mr Leslie J. Thomas for the Jubilee Entertainment Commtitee. Several well-known local entertainers are taking part in the production, including Mr Percy Nicholls, tenor. The ballets will be given by pupils of Mrs J. Hulme, Miss M. Myers and Miss Bessie Macdonald. The chorus will be led by Mr Rex J. Hobbs, and Mrs Enid Frye and Miss Lucy Cowan are also assisting. The Royal Christchurch Musical Society will sing the ode, composed by Mr R. Horne.
