BALL AT HORNBY.
The annual ball in connection with the Loyal Orange Lodge was held in the Orange Hall, Hornby. The hall was tastefully decorated with orange and purple streamers, chrysanthemums and evergreens. Miss D. Moore’s Orchestra supplied the music, and extras were played by Miss Florence Nolan. During the evening a lucky spot waltz was won by MrG.Windle and partner. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr Bruce Gardiner, and supper was ably arranged by Mesdames J. and J. E. Rountree.
