LADY HEATH BACK FROM 10,000-MILE FLIGHT IN AFRICA.
GLIDES CASUALLY TO EARTH AS IF AFTER 10-MINUTE ASCENT. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received May 18, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, May 18. Lady Heath arrived at Croydon Aerodrome this afternoon in the tiny Avro-Avian ’plane in which she has flown alone 10,000 miles from Cape Town. She glided to earth as casually as though she was returning from a tenminute trip. She was wearing a plain, ordinary frock, which she might have worn at a tea party.—British Official Wireless.
