CUBA ELIMINATED FROM DAVIS CUP.

Japan entered the second round of the Davis Cup tennis contest in the American' zone by defeating Cuba on Sunday in the doubles. Abe and Toba beat Paris and Banet, 63, 6-3, 46. 9-7. Cuba is thus eliminated from the contest.—Australian Press Association— United Service. Japan won two singles on Saturday.
