HINCHCLIFFE STORY TRACED TO JOKE
AEROPLANES REPORT WRECKAGE ON MOUNTAIN By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received March 22, 11.0 a.m.) VANCOUVER, March 21. A message from Bangor, Maine, states that it is reported that on Tuesday afternoon Canadian aeroplanes, searching for Captain Hinchcliffe, sighted what is believed to be wreckage and two bodies on a mountain in the Moosehead Lake region. Searchers were unable to land on the rough country.—Aust: and N.Z. United Service.
