Warning is given that live shell practice with 18-pounder guns will take place to-morrow and on Friday from a position near the Little River Road in a northerly direction at a target situated on Mr Gray’s property at Ataahua, Kaituna. “ The Greymouth diamond jubilee celebrations were extended over eight days, and there is no doubt that many' people were tired of functions before the celebrations were over,” said Mr J. S. Neville, a member of the Christchurch Celebrations Committee, when speaking upon the suggested programme at the public meeting last night.
