POULTRYMEN PRAISE INSTRUCTOR’S WORK.
(Special to the "Star”) WELLINGTON, March 7. At the Poultry Conference, Mr Green (Christchurch), in his presidential address, said that they were \-ery fortunate in haying in Mr Hawken a sympathetic Minister to study the interests of, and fester, the poultry industry, while the chief poultry instructor (Mr Brown) and his staff were always willing to help in every posible way. They hoped to induce the Government to send Mr Brown to the World's Poultry Congress in the Old Country in 1930.
