CONGRATULATIONS TO PROFESSOR C. C. FARR.
“ Professor C. C. Farr's election to a Fellow of the Royal Society will be a source of gratification to students, colleagues, and the general public, ’ said Dr Right at the New Zealand University Council meeting to-day. “ It is a signal honour conferred on Professor Farr. I move that the Council forward a letter of congratulation to Dr Farr, Professor of Physics at Canterbury College.” Mr A. E. Flower stated that he had been much impressed by the Professor’s zeal. The speaker was very proud that such an honour had come to Canterbury College.
