CITIZENS’ ASSOCIATION INVESTIGATES QUESTION OF CITY MILK SUPPLY.
The General Committee of the Citizens’ Association gave further consideration last evening to the question of the city’s milk supply. The committee investigated in detail the proposals of the Christchurch Dairymen's. Association and the Sealed Bottled Milk Vendors’ Association, which had previously been before the City Council, and were impressed with the assistance given by 1 these associations to guarantee the best available supply. The committee ap- | pointed a sub-committee to set out the ! proposals in greater detail, and to conJ fer with recognised experts in Canterbury. When the matter is completed (early in January, it is anticipated that | the result of these inquiries will be (submitted to the City Council for conjsideration.
